Nov. 25th, 2001

A good day. Despite some initial misgivings I had about the wedding (about my own mood today, about interactions with other people), the event went quite well. I surprised myself by how much film got burned through. Two rolls of 120, two rolls of 135. It's becoming more and more obvious to me how useful it would be to have a second film back for the Hasselblad.

I think I got some good shots, though. The B&W I was using is a new one for me, Ilford XP2, which uses a C-41 process. I'm anxious to see how it turns out. Running the audio was pretty hassle-free, as the relevant tracks were all burned to CD in the right sequence. A good time seemed to be had by all.

Afterwards, went to a hip little joint in near the Rose Quarter called Mint. Eclectic, hip, downtempo. Run by the former owner of Saucebox and the former chef of Zefiro, so the bloodlines are certainly promising greatness. The avacado daquiri (yes, you read that right) is absolutely amazing.
